I am the INDEPENDENT Monarch Fire Protection District Director candidate for the April 4 election.
After a 16-year career police officer with the Shrewsbury Police Department, my family moved to Chesterfield from Webster Groves where I was active in community service for nearly 30 years. I served on Webster Groves boards and commissions and professionally at the St. Louis Association of REALTORS®.

I was elected to a 4 year term as Webster Groves Councilman having oversight of a $25 million budget including police and fire departments. As Councilman, I discovered the city owned water system was losing money and the city did not have the resources to make needed improvements. I lead the charge to sell the city-owned water distribution system for $8.8 million, guaranteed jobs for displaced water employees and required water system upgrades. This windfall later funded Community Center improvements without a tax increase.
I have an associate degree in real estate from St. Louis Community College and a bachelor degree in criminal justice administration from Columbia College.
I am a corporate security manager, REALTOR® and own an equipment rental company. Lisa and I have been married almost 30 years, have 2 college age children and live in Chesterfield.
We need fiscal responsibility, transparency, move meeting times to 6pm, term limits and live stream of public meetings. Every director must be INDEPENDENT for the benefit of the TAX PAYER. I am your candidate and would appreciate your vote. - Gregory
